Desire NOLA

Desire NOLA is a 501© (3) not-for-profit corporation formed by a group of young leaders committed to rebuilding the Greater New Orleans area one small business at a time. Desire NOLA will accomplish this goal by providing grant and business development assistance to locally owned businesses that embody the unique culture and ambiance of New Orleans.

Camp Sunshine

A retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The year-round program is free of charge to all families.

Wille Mae Rock Camp for Girls

Founded in 2004, Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls is a non-profit summer day camp serving girls aged 8-18 in New York City. The program offers girls the chance to learn how to play musical instruments, write songs, perform, learn about different types of music, and generally “rock out” in a supportive environment that fosters self-confidence, self-esteem, creativity, tolerance, and collaboration.

The Tipitina’s Foundation

As part of its mission, the Tipitina’s Foundation is committed to putting an instrument into the hands of every New Orleans student, and this year’s recipients include every school that will have a functioning music program in place when they open in the fall.

Habitat for Humanity New Orleans

New Orleans Habitat for Humanity brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable houses.
